Job statuses explained

2 min read · Last updated August 5, 2026

By the end of this page, you’ll know what each status tag on a job actually means — and which ones you’ll never actually see.

Owner Admin panel

The five statuses

  • Pending (grey) — generated, not started yet.
  • In Progress (blue) — a cleaner has clocked in and is on site.
  • Completed (green) — the cleaner clocked out with at least one proof photo.
  • Missed (red) — reserved for a job nobody showed up for.
  • Archived (grey) — reserved for jobs put away after the fact.

The honest part

Missed and Archived aren't applied automatically yet

Today, nothing in CrewProof ever sets a job to Missed or Archived — not a background check, not a button in the panel. In practice, you’ll only ever see Pending, In Progress, and Completed. A job nobody starts simply stays Pending forever, with no separate alert.

Until automatic missed-detection ships, treat a job that’s still Pending well past its start time as your signal to call your cleaner and follow up directly.
