Generating this week's jobs

By the end of this page, your cleaners will have real, dated jobs waiting for them in the mobile app.

Before you start

You’ll need at least one active schedule.

Steps

1. Go to Jobs and click Generate Jobs.
2. In the Generate Shifts window, set Days to Generate — how many days ahead to create jobs for, from 1 to 30. For a normal week, use 7.
3. Click Generate Jobs.

CrewProof creates one job per matching schedule for each day in that range, and each job shows up on the assigned cleaner’s phone as soon as it’s created.

Making this a habit

Since jobs don’t create themselves, pick a day — Sunday night or Monday morning — to generate the coming week. As long as your schedules don’t change, this is the only recurring task setup requires.

If something goes wrong

• A cleaner says they have no jobs — check that you’ve generated jobs for the current date range, and that the cleaner is the one assigned on the schedule.
• Nothing was created — confirm the schedule is active and its Days of Week include a day inside the range you generated.
